Victoria Michaud

Human Resources and Finance

Victoria’s background prepared her well for multi-tasking – which she does a lot of performing her duties as Human Resources Coordinator while also helping the Executive Pastor with church-related business issues. Victoria earned a B.S. in Communications (with a Human Resources focus) from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota; after graduation, she went to work in the banking field. In 2007, she switched careers to work as office manager for her church, and a year later became the Business Manager, a job she held for 10 years.

Growing up in in Worthington, Minn., Victoria had equated church and faith primarily with “rules,” but that changed when she saw “The Passion of the Christ” in a theater. “It (the film) really pulled me to Jesus,” she says. Victoria and husband Brian married in February 1996; both are from large, blended families and enjoy “being the ‘fun’ aunt and uncle” to their many nieces and nephews. After the two retired in 2019 (Brian worked in engineering for 33 years), the Michauds moved south to The Villages; they heard about LOCC from her sister. Later, on a tour of the Southern Oaks campus, Victoria met Pastor Chris Holck, who invited her to volunteer in the church office; in January 2020, she came on staff part-time. “This job is FUN,” she asserts. “I enjoy the variety and the people, and feel blessed to serve here.”
