Through Operation Christmas Child, Samaritan’s Purse is sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with millions of boys and girls in more than 100 countries each year. Many of these children have never received a present or heard the true meaning of Christmas– until they open a gift filled shoebox from a person like you. LOCC has been an active partner with Operation Christmas Child since 2012, sending thousands and thousands of shoeboxes to children around the world. Most of the boxes come from LOCC’s Filler Factory ministry, and many others from individual donors and LOCC’s “Village to Village” initiative. THE FILLER FACTORY, at the Southern Oaks Campus (5600 Heritage Boulevard, Wildwood, FL 34785 -– located near Brownwood Paddock Square®) of Live Oaks Community Church, meets weekly during the first several months of each year to sew, craft, construct, and assemble thousands of gift items that will fill shoeboxes for children. Join in fellowship and purposeful ministry service and be part of changing children’s lives all over the world in Jesus’ name, all through a simple shoebox gift!
