Gary Zollo

Assistant Technical Director

Gary joined the Live Oaks Community Church staff in January 2023. With a bachelor’s degree in lighting technology and design, plus a master’s in sound engineering, Gary has had a diverse career, supporting program rides and attractions at theme parks (such as “Happily Ever After” at Disney and Universal’s “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter”), as well as handling technical details for professional bands and performers (both Christian and secular artists) during their nationwide tours.

At LOCC, Gary helps prep tech for weekend services, special events, concerts, and holiday activities, and he is very involved in planning and producing Live Oaks’ annual December outdoor light and sound experience “Come to the Light.” He says he has felt “called to the cause,” at Live Oaks, and has enjoyed the people he’s gotten to know in the church. A native of Rockledge, Gary also welcomes the opportunity to return to his home state of Florida and settle down in one place with wife Lety, their son, and their three dogs (they also have one adult child). In his spare time, he enjoys family time, working on cars, and “anything I can do with my hands.”
