🌍 Host an International Student This Summer

This summer, Live Oaks Community Church is inviting families to host English-speaking international students from France and Spain for a short-term, life-changing experience.

Program Dates

We have four hosting opportunities available:

• 1st Group: June 25 – July 14
• 2nd Group: June 25 – July 21
• 3rd Group: July 16 – August 4
• 4th Group: July 23 – August 11

Each stay is approximately 2½ weeks, giving you a meaningful but manageable opportunity to invest in a student’s life.

What This Experience Looks Like

• Welcome a student into your home
• Share meals, conversations, and everyday life
• Help them experience American culture and community
• Build friendships that often last far beyond the summer

Students come eager to grow in their English, experience life in the U.S., and connect with a caring host family.

You don’t need a perfect home—just a willing heart.

What’s Expected of Host Families?

• Provide a safe and welcoming environment
• Provide a bed for each student (Can host more than 1 per home)
• Be open to building a relationship and offering encouragement
• Provide breakfast and dinner ( Some weekends they will be on excursions)
