The Return of The King ep. 34: The Wedding Supper of the Lamb

“Our Lord Jesus has betrothed His Church unto Himself in righteousness, and He will celebrate the marriage in due time.“
– Charles Spurgeon

The Wedding Supper of the Lamb

This weekend, we continued The Return of the King series in Revelation 19:1–10. After the fall of Babylon, heaven erupts in praise: “Hallelujah! For the Lord our God the Almighty reigns.” The sorrow and judgment of the previous chapter now give way to the joyful celebration of the marriage supper of the Lamb.

The Bride Is Ready

Jesus Christ is the Bridegroom, and His redeemed people are the Bride. She is clothed in fine linen, bright and pure—a beautiful reminder that our righteousness is a gift from Christ, and we are called to live out that righteousness through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Hallelujah—Our God Reigns!

Revelation 19 reminds us that God is still on His throne. The Lamb has defeated every enemy, His Bride is being brought home, and “Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb.”

Up Next
Join us next week as we continue through Revelation. Until then, remember: history is moving toward a celebration. The King is coming, the Bridegroom is ready, and heaven’s song is “Hallelujah!”
