The Return of The King ep. 29: Angels and the Harvest of the Earth

Let not one go there unwarned and unprayed for.
Charles H. Spurgeon

This weekend, we studied Revelation 14:6–20, “Angels and the Harvest of the Earth.” John sees heavenly messengers proclaiming the eternal gospel, warning against false worship, and announcing the coming harvest. Through it all, one urgent question remains: Whom will you worship?

The Eternal Gospel

Even as judgment approaches, God’s mercy is still being proclaimed. The gospel goes out to every nation, tribe, language, and people, calling everyone to fear God, give Him glory, and worship the Creator.

A Call to Endure

God calls His people to remain faithful and hold fast to Jesus. The world’s rebellion will ultimately fall, but nothing done faithfully for Christ is wasted. God sees, remembers, and rewards faithfulness.

The Harvest Is Coming

The chapter closes with the powerful picture of the earth being harvested. Christ will return as King and Judge, and the harvest will come at God’s appointed time. Until then, our mission is clear: proclaim the gospel, remain faithful, and worship God alone.

Up Next

Join us next week as we continue through Revelation. As the final judgments draw closer, we are reminded that God remains completely in control, His timing is perfect, and His purposes will be fulfilled.
