The Return of The King ep. 21: The Two Witnesses
“Friends, it’s easy to say Jesus loves me when things are going good. But when your world caves in and they’re killing your children, and your parents, and burning your houses of worship, He’s still good and you’re still protected.”

Measured, Protected, and Faithful
This weekend, we studied Revelation 11:1–14, “The Two Witnesses.” In the midst of judgment and growing opposition, God reminds His people that He knows, measures, and protects all who belong to Him. Though believers may experience hardship and persecution, nothing can happen outside of His sovereign plan and perfect timing.
A Bold Witness in a Hostile World
The two witnesses faithfully proclaim God’s truth for the time appointed to them, empowered by His Spirit and protected until their mission is complete. Their lives remind us that our calling is not to seek comfort or approval but to remain faithful in sharing the gospel, even when the message is unpopular or resisted. God equips His people to shine His light in a dark world and sustains them until their work is finished.
Resurrection and the Final Victory of God
Although the world celebrates the apparent defeat of God’s servants, death is never the final chapter for those who belong to Christ. The resurrection and ascension of the two witnesses reflect the very pattern of the gospel itself—testimony, suffering, victory, and glory. This powerful passage encourages us to trust that God always has the final word and that His promises will ultimately triumph over every earthly power.
Up Next
Join us next week as we continue our journey through Revelation and explore The Seventh Trumpet from Revelation 11:15–19. Together, we will celebrate the glorious proclamation that “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ,” and discover the hope, worship, and assurance found in God’s eternal reign.
