The Return of The King ep. 36: Satan Bound: The Thousand Years

“And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us, we will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us.”
– Martin Luther, A Mighty Fortress Is Our God

Satan Bound: The Thousand Years

This weekend, we continued The Return of the King series in Revelation 20:1–6. John sees an angel descending from heaven to bind Satan for a thousand years. This powerful passage reminds us that Satan’s power is limited, God is always in control, and Christ’s victory is certain.

The Enemy Is Bound

Satan may be powerful, but he is no match for our Almighty God. The key and the chain are held by heaven, reminding us that the enemy operates only within the limits God allows. We can face life’s spiritual battles with confidence because our God reigns!

The Faithful Will Reign

John sees those who remained faithful to Christ, even through persecution, reigning with Him. Their suffering was not their defeat. For those who belong to Jesus, the second death has no power. Our hope and eternal security rest in Christ alone

Join us next week as we continue through Revelation. Until then, remember: Satan is bound, Christ is victorious, and those who belong to Him have an eternal hope that cannot be taken away!
