I Am, The 7 Defining Claims of Jesus

Throughout the Gospel of John, Jesus makes seven bold “I AM” statements—claims that not only reveal His identity but also point to His divine authority and mission.
Each metaphor pulls from the Old Testament and speaks directly to the spiritual needs of humanity—hunger, blindness, lostness, death, confusion, separation, and fruitlessness. This series will explore how these declarations confront us, comfort us, and ultimately compel us to believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing, we may have life in His name (John 20:31).
As we let Jesus define Himself, may that truth deepen our understanding of who He is and transform how we follow Him every day.
