Special Events

From concerts to conferences, we have something for everyone. Don’t miss these special events at LOCC.

A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-session program, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.

Help us feed hungry children around the world. Our goal is to fund and pack more than 300,000 meals over the course of three days, and you can help make it happen.

Men, join us for a great night of fellowship, food, and film! This is a chance to relax, connect, and be encouraged in brotherhood. Bring a friend, have some dinner, grab some popcorn, and enjoy a powerful story together. The cost is $10 (dinner, popcorn, and drinks provided).

Could YOU be a Stephen Minister?

Our Stephen Ministers at Live Oaks Community Church are providing compassionate, one-on-one, Christ-centered care to those in our congregation and community facing life’s challenges. If you are a trained Stephen Minister or are willing to be trained to serve in this capacity, come to an informational meeting  in the Multipurpose Room at Woodridge. We would love to meet with you.

Caring for a loved one experiencing cognitive or physical decline is one of the most selfless acts of love—but it’s not without challenges. Feelings of fear, guilt, frustration, loneliness, and exhaustion are common.
Our Purpose:
We offer a safe, nurturing space where Christian caregivers come together to:
Share experiences and lessons learned
Strengthen coping skills
Support emotional and spiritual well-being
Feel encouraged by mutual love and faith
You are not alone. Come and be supported by others who truly understand.
