SERVE
Help the Suffering People of Cuba
The people of Cuba, and our sister church Los Pinos Nuevos in Havana, are desperate for supplies. Donate items for LOCC’s Cuba GO Team to take to Cuba with them on their upcoming trip, January 31-February 7. Deposit your donations (over-the-counter medicines, pain relievers, vitamins, etc., in their original sealed containers; surgical gloves, masks, and thermometers; new or gently used clothing; non-perishable food items; and hygiene products) in the collection bins located at both campuses between now and January 28.
Feed My Starving Children MobilePack
Help us feed hungry children around the world. It all happens at the Woodridge Campus on February 26-29. Our goal is to fund and pack 400,000 meals in ten 2-hour shifts over the course of four days. That means we need 175 volunteers per shift. Registration begins January 21 – sign up your friends, family, neighbors, and your Encore Group for a shift or two, and generously give to help purchase the supplies. You’ll find sign-up and donation information soon online, at a Commons kiosk, or on the LOCC phone app.
Serve at Trinity Springs
We are looking for individuals who have a heart to volunteer at Trinity Springs, a faith-based assisted living facility located right next door to our Woodridge Campus. To learn more, stop by the information table at either campus before or after services today.
