Ecclesiastes Ep.15: Living Generously
This past weekend’s message, “Living Generously,” from Ecclesiastes 11:1-6, challenged us to be open-handed with our time, resources, and influence—even when we can’t see the outcome.
“Send your grain on the surface of the water, for after many days you may find it… In the morning sow your seed, and at evening do not let your hand rest.” (Ecclesiastes 11:1,6)
Solomon invites us to live generously not because we know exactly what will happen, but because we trust the One who holds the future.
Key Takeaways from the Message:
- Generosity requires faith. We don’t always see the harvest immediately, but God honors faithful sowing.
- Don’t wait for perfect conditions. If we wait until we have more time, more money, or more certainty, we may never take action.
- Keep planting. Whether it’s encouragement, service, or giving—keep investing in others and in God’s kingdom. You never know how God will multiply what you’ve planted.
Coming This Weekend: Remembering Our Creator 🕊️
As we near the end of our Chasing the Wind series, we’ll look at Ecclesiastes 12:1-7 with a message titled “Remembering Our Creator.”
Solomon encourages us to remember and honor God now—not just in our final years, but in the everyday moments of life.
“So remember your Creator in the days of your youth before the days of adversity come…” (Ecclesiastes 12:1)
This message is a timely reminder that a meaningful life begins with a heart anchored in the One who gave it.
We can’t wait to worship and grow together with you this weekend!
